Geoff Ramsay

Geoff Ramsay is a technology leader with deep experience building and securing systems in healthcare, clinical research, and compliance-critical enterprise environments. He is a named author on Canada’s eReferral standard and one of the original architects of PrescribeIT - Canada’s national ePrescription solution, launched nationally by Canada Health Infoway. As CTO of Sciteline, he led a clinical trials platform from concept to profitability in one of the world’s most regulated industries, serving simultaneously as CISO, Chief Privacy Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer. He previously held senior architecture and solutions leadership roles at TELUS Health and Think Research.

Geoff brings hands-on expertise in cloud and enterprise architecture, AI and application development, security policy, and compliance frameworks including HIPAA, PHIPA, ISO 27001, and GxP. Certified in software and cloud architecture. He founded Venturous Technology to make enterprise-grade security and technology accessible to small and medium businesses across Oakville, Mississauga, and the Greater Toronto Area.
